If you have thought of adding sign lanuguage to your choir either through teaching it to the choir OR having a Worship Signing Ministry performed at your event, Pam is the person I would contact! Pam brought not only sign language interpretation to our concert but a sensitivity and artistry to the interpretation that was inspiring for ALL who were present. She was also able to work with the chorus leadership to help us become more welcoming and accommodating to all.

South African Gospel Workshop

Dear Seattle-area singers and Directors

I hope you will consider joining us and inviting your choir to join us for the South African Workshop described below. I have attended workshops with Val and can tell you that she is amazing. If you or your choir is ready to move beyond “We Are Marching in the Light of God” in bringing South African music to your congregation, this is an excellent opportunity. If you would like to bring a group from your choir, I’m sure Val will work out a special price, just let me know.

Don't miss the South African Gospel Workshop on Saturday, January 30th from 10 to 2 at the Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church, 7500 Greenwood Ave. This workshop is sponsored by the Phinney Ridge Gospel Choir and is open to singers from other congregations and the community. Register early and pay in advance to assure a spot. Click HERE for more information and to register.

This is some of the most fulfilling music for singing you'll find anywhere. Dynamic call and response, rock-solid harmonies, exciting rhythms, messages of power and liberation, and movement that unifies the group - what more could a singer want?!

Teachers connected to this living tradition are few and far between in North America. Val Rogers has 10 years of experience learning and sharing this engaging, accessible repertoire.

Click HERE to view or print the workshop flyer.

Childcare provided.

One world in song,

Darren
