Phinney Ridge Gospel Choir Announces World Aids Day Concert


Singers are invited to join us at rehearsals Wednesdays 6:20-7:15pm as we prepare for our World Aids Day Concert

On Saturday, December 1st at 3pm the Phinney Ridge Lutheran Gospel Choir will present a Gospel Concert of Hope and Healing with The Rev. Delores Berry. Rev. Berry has ministered as a full-time gospel singer and evangelist since 1987. Visiting an average of 55 churches per year, Rev. Berry and her partner, Judy will have just returned from their European tour.

Rev. Berry is the recipient of numerous awards including the UFMCC Purple Grass Award for Excellence in Evangelism and is the first recipient the Rosa Parks Award, presented at the 2006 People of African Decent Conference. She is best known for her warm heart, her all-inclusive message of God's love, and her powerful, joyful voice. http://www.revdeloresberry.com

The Phinney Ridge Gospel Choir and musicians will join Rev. Berry in this exciting, high-energy evening of gospel music. The Concert will be held in the Sanctuary of Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church at 7500 Greenwood Ave. Tickets are free. Reservations are recommended. Donations will be accepted for Multifaith Works. Multifaith Works is a non-profit, non-denominational organization that provides housing and supportive services to people living with AIDS or other life-threatening illnesses, and community education on issues of human diversity.
